In 2025, Yen Bai will continue to preserve, maintain, and develop 13 craft villages and 2 traditional crafts recognized by the People's Committee of Yen Bai province, focusing on 4 industry groups.
Accordingly, the group of industries for processing and preserving agricultural, forestry, and aquatic products includes 5 craft villages: The Ngoi Dong Thon 6 Arrowroot Vermicelli Production Village, Gioi Phien Commune, Yen Bai City; The High-Quality Green Tea Processing Village, Truc Thanh Hamlet, Bao Hung Commune (now Minh Quan Commune), Tran Yen District; The Thoc Rice Wine Brewing Village, Ban La Pan Tan, La Pan Tan Commune, Mu Cang Chai District; The Suoi Giang Specialty Tea Growing, Processing, and Preservation Village, Giang B Hamlet, Suoi Giang Commune, Van Chan District; The Tu Le Sticky Rice Growing, Production, and Processing Village, Na Long and Pha Duoi Hamlets, Tu Le Commune, Van Chan District.
The group of industries producing handicrafts includes 3 craft villages and 1 traditional craft: The Tan Linh Hamlet 1 Stone Carving Village; The Cay Mo Hamlet, Lieu Do Commune Stone Carving Village; The Yen The Town, Hamlet 7 Gemstone Painting Production Village (Luc Yen District); The Traditional Mong Khen (panpipe) Craft in Nam Khat, Pung Luong, and Mo De Communes (Mu Cang Chai District).
The group of industries for processing and treating raw materials for rural craft production includes 1 craft village: The Dinh Xay Hamlet Mulberry Growing and Silkworm Farming Village, Bao Dap Commune, Tran Yen District.
The group of industries producing wooden, bamboo, and rattan products; ceramics, glass, textiles, fibers, embroidery, weaving, and mechanical products includes 4 craft villages and 1 traditional craft: The Traditional Forging and casting Craft in Nam Khat, Che Cu Nha, De Xu Phinh, and Kim Noi Communes (Mu Cang Chai District); The Dong Tam Hamlet Shrimp Trap Weaving Village, Phuc An Commune (Yen Binh District); The Phan Thanh Commune Shrimp Trap Weaving Village; The Thon 2 Tuc Commune Brocade Embroidery and Weaving Village, Phuc Loi Commune (Luc Yen District); The De Thang Hamlet Brocade Weaving Village, Che Cu Nha Commune (Mu Cang Chai District).
