25 authors and author groups were awarded in the 11th provincial technical innovation contest of Yen Bai.

The top 25 outstanding solutions from over 200 authors and author groups were honored at the closing ceremony and award presentation of the 11th Provincial Technical Innovation Contest of Yen Bai for the 2023-2024 period.
Launched from January 2023 to July 2024, the 11th Provincial Technical Innovation Contest of Yen Bai attracted over 200 authors and author groups, comprising individuals and organizations working and living in Yen Bai. The contest featured 98 submitted solutions, including inventions and improvements across five fields: mechanical engineering, automation, electrical energy, construction, and transportation; information technology and telecommunications; education and training; agriculture, forestry, and fisheries, natural resource management; and the medical and health care sector.
This is also the only contest in the field of science and technology aimed at all individuals working and living in Yen Bai province. This year, the submitted solutions have increased in both quantity and quality, meeting all three criteria: novelty, scalability, and economic, technical, and social effectiveness.
The author group behind the project "Application of Cold Drying Method for Processing Tea from Ancient Shan Snow Flower in Suoi Giang" consists of students from Class 12D3 at Nguyen Hue High School in Yen Bai City. The team includes Tran Khanh Linh, Nguyen Pham Ngoc Nhi, Pham Dieu Linh, Bui Minh Thu, and Nguyen Bui Thao Linh. They won the first prize in the contest and previously received an encouragement award at the 2024 National Youth and Children’s Creativity Contest.
At the closing ceremony and award presentation of the 11th Provincial Technical Innovation Contest of Yen Bai, the organizers awarded two first prizes: one for the solution "Smart Electrical Cabinet and Ensuring Home Electrical System Safety" by the author group from Nguyen Tat Thanh High School, and another for "Application of Cold Drying Method for Processing Tea from Ancient Shan Snow Flower in Suoi Giang" by the author group from Nguyen Hue High School. Additionally, three second prizes, five third prizes, and fifteen encouragement prizes were awarded to other authors and author groups.
The organizers also presented certificates of merit from the Provincial People's Committee to two author groups with outstanding achievements in the 19th and 20th National Youth and Children’s Creativity Contest in 2023 and 2024, respectively.
